Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno invited athletes who participated in the XX National Sports Week (PON) to enjoy the natural beauty of Papua.
"I also want to specifically invite the athletes to be able to enjoy the natural beauty of Papua and the hospitality of all Pace and Mace," he said in Jayapura, Tuesday.
According to Menparekraf Sandiaga, he also invited residents, especially guests of the XX Papua National Sports Week (PON) to buy Papuan local creative products as souvenirs.
"This is a form of support for economic success in PON XX Papua," he said.
He explained that his party reminded him not to forget to buy Papuan local creative products, namely noken, handicrafts and souvenirs.
"Be Rojali, the group will buy, not Rohali or the group will just see," he said again.
Previously, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno arrived in Papua Province on a working visit to support and review several locations for the XX National Sports Week (PON) event.
Including reviewing the "Maritime Assault Vaccination Center" in collaboration with the Navy and other tourism and creative economy stakeholders.
Sandiaga also visited Yoboi Village, Jayapura Regency to directly observe tourist sites in the area.
