TNI soldiers from the Indonesian Pamtas Task Force-PNG Yonif 611/Awang Long provide medical treatment for Papuans at the border by visiting houses in Erambu Village, Sota District, Merauke Regency, Papua.
The Commander of the Pamtas RI-PNG Task Force (Dansatgas) Infantry Battalion 611/Awang Long Lieutenant Colonel Inf Albert Frantesca, in a statement received on Sunday (15/8/2021), said that the TNI task force's health services were carried out to help the shortage of health workers in the local area, as well as a means friendship in maintaining intimacy with the inmates.
"Satgas Battalion 611/Awang Long Operations Executing Command (Kolakops) Korem 174/ATW always strives to provide health services as much as possible to the community," said Dansatgas.
Dansatgas admitted that the target of the health service was to come directly from house to house to find out which people were really experiencing problems with their health.
Dansatgas said that the health service activities were carried out in Erambu Village, Sota District, Merauke Regency, Papua, the activity was led by Sergeant Yulian, personnel of the Kaliwanggo Post, Pamtas RI-PNG Infantry Battalion 611/Awang Long.
"In this health service, we also urge the public to always comply with the health protocols against the Covid-19 pandemic that we are still experiencing at this time," said Dansatgas.
