The support for the sustainability of Otsus Volume II as a form of government efforts in advancing and prospering the indigenous Papuan people is now increasingly being echoed by various groups of indigenous Papuans.
George Awom (Fanindi Community Leader) of Manokwari Regency also gave his support, he considered that Otsus was a solution in answering all the needs of indigenous Papuans. "I support Otsus to be continued, if you look at this, there are many indigenous Papuan people who still need Otsus," he said when met by the media crew at his residence, Saturday (7/8).
George added, Otsus has succeeded in providing many significant changes in progress in West Papua Province, especially in Manokwari Regency. "As we can see, Manokwari is progressing and growing because of Otsus," he continued.
In addition, George also invited all indigenous Papuans to unite to support the continuation of the Special Autonomy. "Otsus will bring change for the Land of Papua in a better direction, let's together support its continuation," he concluded.
