VICE CHAIRMAN I TAMBRAUW DPRD SUPPORTS OTSUS SUSTAINABILITY

The presence of Special Autonomy (Otsus) in Papua and West Papua since 20 years ago to answer all the problems that exist in the Land of Papua. The Special Autonomy Fund, as mandated by the Special Autonomy Law, is used to finance infrastructure development and maintenance, people's economic empowerment, poverty alleviation, as well as funding for education, social and health.

Paulus Ajambuani, Deputy Chairman I of the Tambrauw DPRD, assessed that Otsus was very necessary to improve the welfare of the Papuan people. According to him, with the continuation of Otsus, development programs, both infrastructure and human resources, will also continue.

The growing issue of rejection in the community, continued Paulus, was carried out by interested persons. "Their voices do not represent the voices of the Papuan people as a whole," said Paulus.

Paul hopes that in the continuation of Otsus later, the government will always prioritize the interests of the community above all else, so that when it is ratified later, Otsus can be implemented optimally to meet the interests of the Papuan people.

Deputy Chairman I of the Tambrauw DPRD also appealed to the public, especially in the District. Tambrauw to always maintain the situation and condition of the area so that it is always safe and peaceful and to support and succeed in the government's plan to improve and perfect the Special Autonomy Law.
