"We plan to have two big venues or events, the first is Pesparawi and PON XX 2021. We in Mimika Regency have prepared several venues," he said.
The Mimika Regent also ensured the central government and the Papua Provincial Government (Pemprov), as well as the community, that Timika's conditions were safe.
"So I hope that the government does not think that in Mimika Regency it is chaotic, prone or conflict, it does not exist," he said.
