Quota of Native Papuan National Police For Officers' School Plus

The National Police will increase the quota for non-commissioned officers who will attend the National Police Inspector School (SIP) in 2021. The policy is only for native Papuan men.

Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Headquarters Inspector General Argo Yuwono said the Papua Police received an additional quota of 77 people. Meanwhile, the West Papua Police sent 150 people.

"The total number of non-commissioned officers from the Papua Police who attended SIP Class 50 of 2021 was 246 people. Then, West Papua 150 people," said Argo in a written statement, Jakarta, Sunday, March 14, 2021.

Prospective students who are non-commissioned officers of the Papua Police, consisting of indigenous Papuans (OAP) and immigrants, must follow a series of selection stages. Starting from administrative checks to Individual Work Script Examinations (NKP).

This requirement also applies to the original West Papua National Police. They have followed the selection from the initial administrative examination to the last NKP exam. All have been accommodated and passed.

"The non-commissioned officers who are declared passed will attend SIP education in Sukabumi for seven months," explained Argo.
