The Nontrol Village Musayawarah Board (Bamuskam) in Jayapura Regency invites local people, as well as all Papuan people in general, to make the simultaneous regional elections a success which will be held in December.
The head of Nontrol Bamuskam, Abraham Wally reminded residents of the importance of community participation in the simultaneous regional elections.
"One of them is that the community can maintain a conducive social security situation," he said
He believes that if security and order in the land of Papua can be maintained before and after the pilkada, it can prove that Papua can provide a successful example in organizing the elections.
"The elections in the midst of the current pandemic are still being carried out by implementing health protocols and implementing 3M and 1T, namely washing hands, maintaining distance, using masks and not crowding," he said.
