Klemen said that the 75th Anniversary of RI carries forward Indonesia, which means that people everywhere, if they want to progress, must be loyal friends.

"Faithful friends means regardless of social status and religion from Aceh to Papua, if you uphold your loyal friends, you are sure to become a developed country," he explained.

The day before, at the 75th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, the representative of Bank Indonesia from Papua handed over a new note of Rp 75 thousand to the West Papua Provincial Government at the Main Hall of the Papua Governor's office.

Head of Bank Indonesia Papua, Naek Tigor Sinaga, said that 75 million new denominations were printed and Papua received 1.1 million notes.

"These new denominations can be exchanged for people in Papua as many as 150 pieces per day," he explained.

For the method of exchange, registration is made via https://pintar.bi.go.id starting on August 17, 2020, by means of which the public can open an online message application.

"This is done so that people do not crowd when exchanging money and continue to apply health protocols," he explained.

Naek said that in the new Rp. 75 thousand denomination, Papua received two pictures, namely the Youtefa Bridge in Jayapura and a photo of young people wearing Papuan traditional clothes.

"This reflects how the young generation of Papua is the same as the younger generation outside Papua," he explained.

Naek hopes that the printing of the new Rp. 75 thousand banknotes can inspire enthusiasm, because this is proof that the central government pays great attention to development in Papua, both in terms of infrastructure development and human resources.
