Task Force Yonif 125 / SMB Together with Puskesmas Hold Integrated Health Services for the Elderly at the Border
As a form of concern for the health of border residents as well as tightening the ties of friendship, the 125th Infantry Battalion Task Force / Simbisa in collaboration with the Sota Health Center held integrated health services for the Elderly in Yanggandur Village, Sota District, Merauke Regency, Papua Province.
Dansatgas Infantry Battalion 125 / SMB, Lt. Col. Inf Anjuanda Pardosi said, the Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) for the elderly involved four Task Force personnel from the Yanggandur Post led by Sertu Darius P. Saragih in collaboration with health officials from the Sota Puskesmas and Yanggandur Pustu.
"In addition to carrying out medical services and health consultations for the elderly, the health team also appealed to residents to comply with health protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19, always maintain health, care for personal hygiene and the environment so they are not susceptible to disease," he said.
Dansatgas also said that the Task Force personnel in addition to the task of carrying out border security also carried out other tasks including helping the difficulties of residents as an embodiment of territorial coaching activities in order to create a good relationship between Satgas members and residents at the border.
