2 Villages in Mimika Declared to be Green Zones |
Two villages in Mimika, Papua, are now downgraded from the yellow zone to the green zone, spread by Covid-19. The two villages are, Mimika Gunung Village, Kuala Kencana District and Mandiri Jaya Village, Wania District.
In addition to the 2 villages, there are 3 villages which are included in the red zone, but are reduced to the yellow zone. The three villages, namely Inauga and Kamoro Jaya in Wania District, and Karang Senang Sub-District, Kuala Kencana District.
Covid-19 spokesman Mimika Reynold Ubra said, the decrease in the declared zone from the red to the yellow zone and the yellow to the green zone was affected because the recovery rates of patients being treated were mainly in three districts around the city, namely Mimika Baru, Wania and Kuala Kencana Districts. .
"This is an exciting thing for all of us," Reynold said in a video conference facilitated by the Office of Communication and Information, Friday (12/6) evening.
According to Reynold, mapping the area based on the red, yellow and green zones is a warning for the community to be careful in their activities. In addition, to facilitate the mapping of the health team in tracing or tracking cases.
