Deputy Governor of Papua, Klemen Tinal asked regional heads in 29 regencies / cities to no longer hesitate to shift the Regional Budget for handling Covid-19. He said this year it was certain there was no APBD budget for development.
"The shifting of the regional budget has received permission from the central government. Don't be too rigid about this problem, everything must be done with quick action, "he said in Jayapura, Friday, April 24, 2020.
Klemen said that the corona problem is always dealing with the safety of human lives, so it is useless if there is still construction for roads, bridges and other infrastructure, but all people lose their lives.
"This shift in the regional budget should be coordinated with the DPRD. If there is a budget that has already been tapped, please report it to the Chair of the DPRD and ask for his signature. This is nothing new because of the current situation. So, don't you complain about this year's APBD budget, "he said.
