The Covid-19 Merauke Volunteer Community continues to hold various activities, including conducting disinfectant removal in a number of public places in Merauke Regency, Papua. The volunteers prepared jerry cans to make handwashing media, donated boiled chicken eggs for medical personnel at Merauke Regional Hospital, and gave hundreds of masks to garden traders, workers, micro, small and medium business groups, as well as online motorcycle taxi drivers. . The volunteer activities received support from a number of private companies in Merauke, as well as individual community donations.

Adi hopes the movement, which is led by the Merauke Covid-19 Community of Volunteers, will raise everyone's awareness to prevent the transmission of the corona virus in Merauke. One of the residents of Merauke, Yohanes (35), appreciated the initiative of the Merauke Covid-19 Community Volunteer. "We are grateful, because in addition to getting information about the corona virus, [the volunteers] also gave masks for free," Yohanes said.
