| 3 PDP Patients in Papua May Go Home |
The good news corona from Papua increases again. This time it has been found that there are two consecutive positive cases of co-19. It's just that, the number of people in monitoring (ODP) continues to increase as of Saturday (03/28/2020) reaching 2,311 people and there are 43 people PDP. This addition is due to the hard work of the team in 29 districts / cities that continue to conduct searches to ODP.
The Covid-19 Papua Task Force has advised the ODP, continue to inform the state of its health and if there are complaints with the ODP, can immediately contact the health officer, so that steps are taken quickly in handling Covi-19.
"Of the 29 regencies / cities in Papua, there are still 7 districts that have not reported the development of Covid-19 corona in their regions, namely Puncak, Yalimo, Dogiyai, Deiyai, Intan Jaya, Nduga and Sarmi Districts," said a Covid 19 Papua task force spokesman, doctor Silwanus Sumule.
Another good thing from the development of corona covid-19 in Papua is that there are 3 patients under surveillance (PDP) who were previously treated at a number of hospitals already allowed to go home.
"As of today there are 3 PDP who have been allowed to go home, namely 2 people in Mappi and 1 person in Jayapura. We are all thankful, "said Silwanus.
Silwanus said that currently there were 75 samples that were examined and there were 36 samples that were obtained both positive and negative, and there were 39 samples that were currently under examination.
"The medical team works 24 hours, starts to take samples, move and examine the samples. "It takes 6-8 hours for samples to be known," he said.
