Vice President Ma'ruf Amin requested that the City Government (Pemkot) and Regency Government (Pemkab) proactively take the mass rapid corona virus test tool (Covid-19).

The device is known to have been sent by the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) to provincial government offices throughout Indonesia. Ma'ruf further said that the initiative to pick up the ball needs to be carried out by each City Government and Regency Government so that the rapid test distribution can be faster and can be used right on target. Because there are many provincial governments that have limited distribution to cities / regencies because their regions are difficult to reach.

"Sometimes there are areas that are somewhat far from the province. Therefore, so that the distribution effort is not late, there is no need to wait, if necessary, come, "he said.

In addition, Ma'ruf reminded all regional heads to hold a corona virus rapid test according to the health protocol. One of them is obliged to maintain physical distancing and avoid potential crowd when holding the test.

"I think it can be done in various ways, some are door to door, there are also provided in a limited number of places, the important thing is not to have a large crowd," he said.

Furthermore, Ma'ruf Amin said, there was no application of lockdown or isolation status in Papua Province. The closure of flight and shipping lines to Bumi Cendrawasih from March 26 to April 9, 2020, is only temporary to prevent the spread of the corona virus.

Ma'ruf added that to date President Joko Widodo has not imposed a lockdown status in Indonesia. Areas that have a high-intensity corona virus spread status, stressed Ma'ruf only apply physical distancing instruments and strict discipline for its citizens.

"As in Jakarta, in Jakarta it has imposed learning from home, schools are closed, then Friday prayers are removed. Then also restrict people from moving in and out of Jakarta. This is part of improving discipline, implementing physical distancing, "Ma'ruf said.

Previously Papua Governor Luke Enembe said access of people and passengers from the sea and air was temporarily closed to curb the spread of the corona virus in Papua. Exemptions apply to the transport of goods and food.
