| Jayawijaya Regency Government prepares two isolation rooms for corona patients |
The Government of Jayawijaya Regency, Papua Province provides two isolation rooms for handling corona patient care. Head of the Jayawijaya Health Office, doctor Willy Mambieuw, through his cellphone said that the two isolation rooms are in Wamena Regional Hospital.
"In the new emergency room and the other next to the oxygen room of the hospital. The capacity of each room can accommodate five people," he said.
He said the facilities for the two isolation rooms with a capacity of 10 people were still adequate because only one PDP was being treated in Jayawijaya.
"There has been no addition. To this day we think it is still possible, but from the district head himself, he has already purchased facilities and is just waiting for the goods, just lift the ventilator directly," he said.
Earlier, Head of the Association of Regents in the Central Papuan Mountains, Befa Yigibalom, said that eight regencies in the mountains of Papua did not have Corona isolation space.
The head of the regent's association also appealed to the regents to contribute funds to the handling of corona in Jayawijaya because Jayawijaya Regency is the entrance of goods and passengers to the central mountain region of Papua.
"The funds that will be handed over will also be used to complement the needs of the isolation room at Wamena Regional Hospital in Jayawijaya so that if a suspect is found later in another district, he will immediately be treated at Wamena Regional Hospital which has rather complete facilities," hoped Befa, who is a daily regent in Lanny Jaya Regency. .
