The Chairman of the Potikelek Market Traders Association, Yonita Gombo, appreciated the Jayawijaya Regional Police policy that improved police performance in the field. "But if possible patrol should not be done at certain hours because the drunks already know so they avoid when the police want to patrol," he said.

A merchant representative in Pasar Baru requested that Jayawijaya Regional Police personnel on patrol not only sit in the car but get down and ensure conditions were always safe and orderly.
