The Jayapura Regency Government (Pemkab) of Papua Province makes it easier for students who want to do research in that area with the Research Certificate (siSKP) system.
Head of Jayapura Regency Research and Development Agency Jonson Naigolan in a press release received in Jayapura, Monday, said the implementation of siSKP is to shorten/minimize the work of students who will conduct research on 'Kenambai Umbai' Earth.
According to Jonson, his party has also socialized the application system in managing research certificates for students at each tertiary institution and campus admin on December 16, 2022.
"The goal is to make it easier for students and campus admins to obtain information for the management of the research permit system," he said
He explained that the time for students to obtain research permits would be waiting from the local National Unity and Politics Agency (Kesbangpol).
"Because Kesbangpol issued the recommendation because it has become a rule or procedure that must be implemented from the Ministry of Home Affairs (Ministry)," he said.
Meanwhile, he said, the task of Research and Development (R&D) was only to issue research certificates.
"But at least with the siSKP application it can be seen how far the file input process has come and where the files are still stuck," he said again.
He added that his party would perfect the application and also provide links and tutorials related to procedures for inputting data into the siSKP application to students.
"We also try to translate it as easily as possible so that it can be used by students on campus and also for those who want to do research," he said
