The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Anti-Corruption Agency (KPK) has again secured hundreds of millions of rupiah in Batam City, related to the investigation into the alleged corruption scandal of the Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe.

KPK spokesman Ali Fikri confirmed that the KPK investigators had attempted a forced search in Batam City on Wednesday (21/12).

"It's true, the Investigative Team has finished searching Batam City, which is located in one of the residences related to this case. During the search, hundreds of millions of rupiah were found and secured which were related to the case," said Ali Fikri via WhatsApp via WhatsApp. , Friday (23/12/2022).

Ali emphasized that investigators would carry out analysis and confiscation to become evidence in the investigation case file for suspect LE et al.
 
In addition, said Ali on Thursday (22/12) at Balerang Police, Batam, the Investigative Team had finished examining witnesses, including     Army Muhammad Wijaya (Private) and Nixander Army Wijaya (Private).

"The two witnesses were present and investigated their knowledge, among others, regarding the alleged flow and financial transactions of Tsk LE," said Ali.

He stated that one of the witnesses, Luki Sudarmiati (private), did not attend the summons of the KPK investigators, without confirming the reasons for his absence.
 
"We remind the witnesses to obey the summons from the investigators," said Ali.
