The Jayawijaya District Health Office (Dinkes) received an additional 6 doctors who are still continuing their practice or Koas through the Ministry of Health program, where the staff from these doctors are further divided into 3 at the Puskesmas and 3 more at the RSUD, this is done because they must receive guidance from a senior doctor. .
The Head of the Health Service admitted that there were no additional new doctors from his own department, only from the Ministry of Health, so the doctors whose names were in the program were distributed.
"We in Jayawijaya got 6 additional doctors at the Puskesmas and 3 others at the Wamena Hospital," he said on Saturday (11/5) yesterday.
It is said, the presence of 6 doctors is very helpful in providing health services to the community. In carrying out their duties later, they will be rolled over, where those from the Puskesmas will go to the Wamena Hospital and those at the Wamena Hospital will go to the Puskesmas.
"We do this in addition to giving them guidance, we can also maximize health services, both at the Puskesmas and at the Wamena Hospital," said the surgeon specialist at Wamena Hospital.
It is said, these 6 doctors will serve in Wamena for 1 year, because this has something to do with their education, meaning that even though they have finished college, they must continue to study for Koas again, so they must be placed as assistants to senior doctors at the Puskesmas and Wamena Hospital.
He added that after practicing or Koas in Jayawijaya later these 6 people will return to complete the certification so that they can start providing health services on their own, either in Jayawijaya or later to other areas.
