The Papua and Maluku Regional Oil and Gas National Entrepreneurs Association (Hiswana Migas) stated that the stock of fuel oil (BBM) at every General Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) is safe for both diesel and pertalite.
Chairman of Hiswana Migas Papua and Maluku Region Lendrik Lekenila in Jayapura, Saturday, asked the public not to worry and panic because of long queues at every gas station due to manual QRCode data collection, not due to scarcity.
"We make sure fuel stocks are available both in main Papua and in the three new provinces, for that people don't need to worry," he said.
According to Lendrik, there is no scarcity of fuel stock, so it is hoped that the public will not believe in false rumors that cause panic.
"For this reason, we hope that the public will immediately register on the MyPertamina application where with this application the subsidized fuel program can be right on target," he said.
On this occasion, he said that the presence of three new provinces in Papua would not be an obstacle in the distribution of fuel because his party and Pertamina had prepared the fuel supply infrastructure.
"We and Pertamina have prepared points that will supply fuel to Papua Mountains, Central Papua and South Papua," he said.
