GPPI, GMNI and APNI Manado Declaration of Rejecting Free Papua, Support Otsus and Continue DOB



The Association of Indonesian Youth Cares Movement (GPPI) students, the Indonesian National Student Movement (GMNI) and the Indonesian National Youth Association (APNI) Manado City Monday (13/6/2022) held a declaration rejecting Papua's independence and supporting the sustainability of special autonomy 2 and the proposed expansion. new autonomous region in Papua.

Located at Taman Godbless Boulevard Manado, 50 students from the joint student alliance of the Indonesian Youth Care Movement (GPPI), the Indonesian National Student Movement (GMNI) and the Indonesian Nationalist Youth Association (APNI) Manado City led by Christ A. Lombo as the field coordinator carry out the declaration action.
 
As for the contents of the declaration, With the Grace of God Almighty, today, Monday 13 June 2022 at Godbless Park, Manado City, North Sulawesi Province, we are the Student Alliance consisting of the Indonesian Cares Youth Movement (GPPI), the Indonesian National Student Movement ( GMNI) and the Indonesian Nationalist Youth Association (APNI) Manado City, hereby declare that:

1. Rejecting an independent Papua and a referendum for Papua because Papua is an inseparable part of Indonesia,

2. Support efforts to resolve conflicts in Papua with dignity in order to achieve a peaceful Papua,

3. Encouraging the resolution of the Papua problem by reconciliation and restitution towards a safe Papua.

4. Support the sustainability of Otsus 2 and the proposed expansion of the New Autonomous Region in Papua.

“We believe that the expansion can encourage equitable development and accelerate public services such as health and education as well as encourage economic growth in the Papua region. Student life, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia is fixed, "said Christ Lombo.

After holding the declaration, the students dispersed in an orderly and safe manner.
