Papua Launches SIAP Application, Contains 12 Menus for Ease of Education System

The Office of Education, Libraries and Regional Archives (DPPAD) of Papua Province has officially launched the Education Administration Information System (SIAP) application, as a breakthrough in the education system.

The Head of the Papua Province DPPAD, Protasius Lobya explained about the SIAP application at the declaration of the education governance system at the Sasana Krida Hall of the Papua Governor's Office, Jayapura City, Thursday (10/2/2022).

"Initially we did not have databases in all districts and cities in Papua Province, so this SIAP application is a new breakthrough in data collection and application-based services," he explained.

Through the SIAP application, employee data and services to the community are contained through 12 application authority menus.

"In the display there is the word "serving without distinction" values, which means we serve all people without discriminating against ethnicity, race, religion, or other backgrounds," he explained.

The SIAP application consists of 12 menus, namely Reference, Access History, Sipesta, Simtadi, Simkordani, Simperjadin, IDS, Periodic Salary Increase, User Directory, Sidawai, Sinora, Sijagat, Simskp, and Siprima.

"I gave an example, from the Sipesta menu, we can know which employee or teacher is involved or not teaching," he said.

This SIAP application can be accessed anywhere and anytime, as long as the internet network is well connected.

"This is also a form of our service to the public, in the world of education, all existing menus and databases have all been integrated as a single unit, so they can be accessed easily," he explained.

Protasius hopes that this SIAP application can be useful for all parties, and can be a pioneer for others so that they can build an integrated, fast, and easily accessible database.

Previously, the SIPD RKAS application and SRIKANDI application, as well as the inauguration of the Marketing Building for the Production Unit of the Mamta Customary Vocational School.
