Papuan Police Chief Inspector General Mathius D. Fakhiri, SIK attended the premiere of the film Si Stabbing Police Noken produced by the Papua Police which took place at Mall Jayapura on Wednesday (09/02/2022).
On this occasion, the Regional Police Chief was accompanied by the Deputy Chief of the Papua Police, Brigadier General Pol Dr. Eko Rudi Sudarto, SIK, M.Sc., Papuan Police PJUs and Papuan leaders. The Kapolda said that his party was very open to criticism and input in the film Si Stab Police Noken.
"We will ask for suggestions and input from all parties so that we can decide whether this film is appropriate or not to be shown in 8 major cities in Indonesia," said the Kapolda to the media crew after the gala premiere of the film Si Stabbing Police Noken.
He was very grateful for the smooth screening of the gala premiere of the film "SI TIKAM" for 2 days. This will later be used as material for him to decide whether this film is worth watching by everyone or not.
"I hope that in the future there will be no more protests for this film and let's watch this film as a film of pride for the Papuan people," he said.
The Police Chief continued, another moral message in this film, namely TNI-Polri Synergy is not just a slogan but we are real and of course we also want to change the pattern of people's views on us. In this film, people will be shown another side of Papua.
"We realize that this film still has many shortcomings, for that in the future we hope to be better by presenting great producers and directors from the land of Papua," he said.
At the same time, one of the Papuan highlands community leaders, Paskalis Kossay, said that this film conveys a lot of moral messages that contain the value of development and carries a good message for all, namely the reality of the social life of the Papuan people like this.
So that through the role in this film will provide a positive charge for all people to be able to think whether to continue in this condition or change, especially the younger generation of Papua.

Syaiful Islam Al Payage expressed his appreciation for the SI TIKAM film because according to him it was extraordinary and could provide extraordinary education as well as a lot of learning, especially everything that requires struggle to achieve goals.
"I hope that all Indonesian people let us watch the film SI TIKAM together so we can see the other side of Papua which is very extraordinary," he explained.
Papuan MRP member Edison Tanati, AMK said that his party really appreciates the Papuan Police for providing extraordinary achievements for Papua, especially opening up space for Papuan youths to be creative and work.
"I agree that the film SI TIKAM will be screened in all Indonesian cinemas because this is the reality of life in Papua," he explained.
The last submission from the Chairperson of PGPI Pdt. MPA Maury, S.Th. who said we really appreciate the screening of this extraordinary film SI TIKAM, which was presented by the Papua Regional Police.
