SUMUAI WAPRAK : ROSEWAR DISTRICT COMMUNITIES SUPPORT OTSUS SUSTAINABILITY




Based on Law no. 21 of 2021 concerning Special Autonomy (Otsus) for Papua is an assistance program provided by the central government for the welfare of the Prov. Papua and Prov. West Papua through increased development evenly.

One of the Community Leaders as well as District Secretary Rosewar Kab. Teluk Wondama Sumuai Waprak stated that the benefits of Otsus have been felt by the people of Rosewar District, which is an archipelago in Kab. Wondama Bay.

"We residents of Rosewar District are very supportive of the Otsus program and have felt the benefits of Otsus which has built the Rosewar Islands," said Sumuai Waprak.

Sumuai Waprak expressed his gratitude for the attention of the central government and local governments through Otsus in meeting the needs of the community, especially Papuan People (OAP) during the pandemic as well as improving education, health and infrastructure development facilities that are getting better.

He also invites the public to support Otsus which has succeeded in advancing Papua in various sectors and is not provoked by negative issues related to Otsus by groups who want to destroy peace in the Land of Papua.
