The Indonesian National Police are currently pursuing the perpetrators of the shooting of the Eromaga community, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, Papua, Friday (4/6/2021). There were five victims who were from the same family who were shot dead by the armed criminal group (KKB).
The victims of this KKB outrage were the village head of Nipurlema Petianus Kogoya and four members of his family. Their actions became even more brutal after the day before they shot dead construction workers and set fire to the tower at Ilaga Airport.
The Head of the Nemangkawi Public Relations Task Force, Kombes Pol. Iqbal Alqudusy, said that currently the victims were still in Eromaga.
"The evacuation cannot be carried out because there are still gunfire around Ilaga Airport," said Iqbal.
Communities around Eromaga as many as 10 villages fled to Kunga to avoid the cruel actions of the KKB.

He emphasized that the KKB of the Lekagak Telenggen terrorist group never controlled Ilaga Airport. They attempted to attack by setting fire to the airport's ATC facilities. Currently, the operational conditions for civil aviation are limited.
