TNI and Polri officers shoot dead Lesmin Waker, commander of the Lekagak Telenggen Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Wuloni, Puncak, Papua, Thursday (13/5/2021).
Lesmin Waker was the shooter who killed Brimob member Bharada Komang, a member of Ops Nemangkawi.
The commander of the Lekagak Telenggen Terrorist Group was killed during a shootout with a joint TNI team including Kopassus, Kostrad and Yonif Raider.
Based on the release of Tribrata Polri, Kasatgas Nemangkawi Public Relations Kombes Pol M. Iqbal said the location of the gunfire was in the vicinity of Wuloni Village, which is suspected to be the hiding place for the Lekagak Talenggeng terrorist group.
The evidence that was successfully secured by the TNI - Polri troops was in an honai owned by Lesmin Waker, including 1 unit of military helmet, documents, various sharp weapons, arrows and cellphones.
Apart from the aforementioned items, he said, TNI-Polri troops, the day before Wednesday (12/5/2021) had carried out an action in Tagalowa village with shooting disturbances and were successfully driven away.
Continued Kombes Pol.M Iqbal, with the evidence that was successfully secured by controlling the Tagalowa camp, including obtaining evidence of 3 Morning Star flags, 1 printed book to the new Papua by Dr. Benny Giay, 4 axes, 3 crowbars, 4 machetes, 1 hammer, 46 arrows and 1 bow.
The Head of the Public Relations Task Force added that the chase was still being carried out by TNI-Polri personnel after the control of Camp Wuloni and Camp Tagalowa.
