The Grand Committee for the XX Papua National Sports Week (PB PON) and Silas Papare Lanud agreed to simulate the arrival and return of the XX National Sports Week (PON) contingent on April 3 and 5, 2021.
This was conveyed by the Head of Division I PB PON XX 2021 Papua, Dr. Yusuf Yambe Yabdi ST MT accompanied by Danlanud Silas Papare Marsma TNI Budhi Achmadi, after a Coordination Meeting (Rakor) at the Silas Papare Air Base Multipurpose Building, Kemiri, Sentani District, Jayapura Regency, Thursday (1/4).
"We will carry out simulations on Saturday, April 3, 2021 and April 5, 2021. PB PON and Silas Papare Lanud work together to make the arrival and return of the XX Papua PON contingent a success. Today's meeting, how do we do a scenario or simulation of the handling of contingents who will come and go home through the handling of CDMs from 33 provinces who will later attend CDM Meeting II in Jayapura, "Yusuf explained.
Yusuf informed that the preparatory meeting for the simulation was attended by dozens of people consisting of 16 PB PON fields, Paguyuban representatives from 33 provinces and TNI-Polri.
"Hopefully, volunteers and PB PON who are involved in the simulation will be able to absorb what was conveyed by Mr. Danlanud, how to follow the SOPs that have been built and also set by Mr. Danlanud and the team as the person in charge of pick-up and delivery. So that everything is more focused on how we crystallize the handling model for contingent pickup and delivery of the contingent home, "said Yusuf.
Chief De Mission (CDM) Meeting II PON XX was held on April 7-10 2021 at Suni Garden Lake Hotel and Resort, Sentani, Jayapura Regency. This meeting will be attended by Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK) Muhadjir Effendy, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, Minister of Youth and Sports Zainudin Amali and Chairman of the Central KONI, Marciano Norman and officials of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) .
