Dandim 1702 Jayawijaya Lt. Col. Arif Budi Situmeang said the second stage of vaccination made him optimistic in conquering Covid-19. He received a second injection of vaccine at the Wamena Hospital Hall on Monday, March 1, 2021.

Jhon Regent Richard Banua said the second vaccination was not much different from the first vaccination, namely continuing through several stages, namely registration, the screening stage, the vaccine injection stage, the observation stage where participants waited for 30 minutes to find out the effect of the vaccination that had been injected.

On the sidelines, the Dandim happily said that the public did not need to worry about receiving the Sinovac vaccine. The long stage of the Sinovac-type Covid-19 vaccine, until it was thrown into the public, has gone through rigorous and thorough clinical trials. BPOM and MUI have also issued safe and halal recommendations for this type of vaccine. Even the President, Joko Widodo became the first Indonesian to receive this vaccine. For that there is no need to hesitate to accept vaccines for the health of all.
Even though we have been vaccinated, we must still adhere to health protocols, namely wearing masks, washing hands with soap, maintaining distance, staying away from crowds and reducing mobility.
