PON Futsal Monitor Talented Players

After successfully designing mini tournaments such as the Cup Heroes Day, Youth Pledge, Haornas, and Merah Putih. Now PON Papua Futsal is back to do the same tournament, entitled Christmas Day mini tournament.
The tournament was attended by 25 Futsal teams in Jayapura City. And it will take place on November 5-18 at the Polimak Hitam Futsal field, Jayapura City.

The 25 teams were divided into 5 groups, in which group A included Kloofkamp, ​​Simaka, Arjuna Papua, Bifor Papua and Gangza. Group B is inhabited by Angkasa Putra, Spilo Cuscus, Bintang Papua B, the Mayor. In group C there are Taluk Biru, PON Papua, Mitra 89, HM Dolphin.

Meanwhile, Group D has Inshoy, Polimak 1, Noken Soft, M.Crew. Group E includes Bintang Papua A, PLN, Bosesi, PWI Siwo Papua. And for group F inhabited Air Black, Bosskev, Poseydon and WS Arillia.

"Of the 32 teams invited to the Technical Meeting, only 25 teams participated in the Christmas Day tournament. This tournament was initiated by the Papua PON Futtsal team in collaboration with the owner of Mutiara Hitam FC and Romantic Futsal Jayapura, "said the Head Coach of PON Papua Futsal, Daud Henry Arim.

Daud Arim said, he deliberately held a series of mini tournaments to replace the Papua PON try out periodization program.

"In addition, we also focus on increasing the mentality of matches and players' confidence, by looking at the system, strategy, set play and tactics for playing futsal athletes in PON Papua," said Daud Arim.

The former Persipura Jayapura player also said that PON Papua Futsal is also still implementing a relegation promotion system. So Daud hopes that through the mini Christmas Day tournament, potential players can be recruited to strengthen Futsal PON Papua.

"We continue to provide opportunities to join, we want to see if there are still quality children participating in the tournament. We will definitely recruit good futsal techniques," said Daud.

"We hope this is a substitute for the Papua PON futsal try out, for that the KONI and Puslatprov administrators can help us in this event," he concluded.
