The Head of the Regional Civil Service Agency for Papua Province, Nicolaus Wenda, emphasized that all State Civil Servants should not be directly involved in the regional elections.
Nicolaus reminded ASN not to become a successful team for candidate pairs (Paslon) in the regional elections. Including participating in the candidate pair campaign.
"ASN is prohibited from being a successful team, and should participate in the campaign," said Nicolaus.
According to Nicolaus, if any ASN is found to be involved in supporting one of the candidate pairs, it will be given strict sanctions in the form of dishonorable discharge by the district / city BKD.
Nicolaus added, until now the provincial and district / city BKD have not found reports of ASN involvement in supporting one of the candidate pairs.
However, people who know about it can report it to the BKD along with the evidence.
To note, as many as 11 districts in Papua Province will hold regional elections, namely Waropen, Supiori, Merauke, Yalimo, Boven Digul, Asmat, Mamberamo Raya, Nabire, Keerom, Bintang Mountains and Yahukimo Regencies.
