According to Robby, in terms of infrastructure development, Mimika is superior to other districts in Papua, especially in the Central Papua region.

Because of this, according to Robby, during the visit of Menkopolhukam, Minister of Home Affairs and Deputy DPD RI in Mimika, it should be time to look at infrastructure development in Mimika.
It was intended to be a benchmark for the Central Government to determine which areas are suitable to be the capital if Central Papua is divided, Mimika or Nabire are more feasible.
"We hope in the future they can come again, go straight to the field and see Mimika development," he said.
Previously, during a working visit to Mimika some time ago, Menkopolhukam Mahfud MD, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian and Deputy Chairman of the DPD RI, Nono Sampono held a dialogue with Forkompinda and community leaders who were also attended by Mimika Regency Government. At that time the Minister of Home Affairs had mentioned the new autonomous region (DOB) in Papua.
The Minister of Home Affairs conveyed that he had met with the Regent of Nabire, Isaias Douw while in Jayapura. To the Minister of Home Affairs, Isaias said that Nabire was ready to become the capital of Central Papua.
