Let's Keep the Harmony of Religious Groups from Sabang-Merauke

Chairperson of the Papua Church Communities (PGGP) Rev. MPA. Mauri Sth, who is the Religious Leader of the Province of Papua, appealed to all religious people in Papua to always respect the government and continue to maintain harmony between religious communities from Sabang to Merauke.

"We in Papua have felt and enjoyed development everywhere, both physical development and spiritual development, this is all because Papua is part of Indonesia," he said, Tuesday, 06/09/2020.

He explained, the success of the government in developing Papua should we express gratitude and thanks to God and also to the government with us obeying all government orders.

"All of us from Sabang to Merauke are Indonesians. Therefore, let's join hands against this civid-19 virus, "he said.

"We are also obliged to defend Pancasila and the 1945 constitution in the context of red and white and the most important thing is that we love each other among ourselves because it is God's command," he continued.

Ps. MPA Mauri also appealed to all Papuan leaders, be they religious leaders, community leaders, traditional leaders, youth leaders, women leaders, to jointly join hands to build the land of Papua in the frame of the beloved NKRI.

"Let's maintain the unity and integrity of the Indonesian nation from Merauke to Sabang and may God bless us all," he concluded.
