TNI Synergizes with Puncak Jaya Regency Government Distributes Aid of 10 Tons of Rice

TNI soldiers Koramill1714-04 Sinak together with members of the Polsek worked together to assist the government in the distribution of aid for 10 tons of rice to Sinak villagers affected by the corona virus (COVID-19) on Wednesday (27/5).

Sinak District Head Petrus Kogoya as the person in charge of distribution of social assistance said that the COVID-19 rice assistance from Puncak Regency Government was as much as 10 tons. For 10 tons of rice the local government assistance, according to Petrus, will be distributed to the people in 7 districts.

He admitted, rice was already available and would be distributed immediately, while for other staples and cash assistance from the government already existed, but the administrative requirements were not yet complete.

"Cash social assistance and other staples are still being done by the village heads, I hope the residents will be patient, if the requirements have been completed and in accordance with the procedures, the assistance will immediately be distributed to all residents," he said.

Danramil 1714-04 Sinak Captain Inf Muh. Ardafid said, in accordance with the direction of the District Head, it was hoped that the entire community would not be affected by incorrect issues regarding government funding that could not be distributed together with rice.

"Cash social assistance is still in the process of being supplemented by administrative requirements by village officials. For this reason the community must be patient waiting for the distribution schedule," he said.

The Military Commander also appealed to residents to remain disciplined in implementing the provisions that have been submitted by the government through the health department regarding the procedures for controlling the spread of the Corona virus outbreak.

"Wear a mask when you leave the house, wash your hands with soap, keep a minimum distance of one meter to two meters and avoid crowds of people," he added.
