TNI Helps Arso Puskesmas Perform Co-19 Rapit Test

TNI Soldier Task Force Yonif Raider 509 Kostrad assisted Arso Kota Puskesmas to conduct Rapid Tests to the general public in the Yuwanain Kampung area, Arso 2, Kab. Keerom, Papua. Thursday (5/21).

The test was carried out as an early detection of the spread of the corona virus in the Papua border region.

Rapid tests are deliberately carried out in the village and serve people who want to check themselves voluntarily.

Head of Arso City Puskesmas Ny. Yusnita Pabeno S.Kep., M.Kep said that they along with members of the TNI who were currently on duty at the border were ready to assist the Regional Government in preventing the spread of this global virus in the Papua region, especially in Keerom Regency.

"The Rapid Screening Screening examination was conducted in collaboration with other relevant agencies, including from the Health Office of the District of Keerom and the TNI who are currently in charge of guarding the border," he said.

While Wadansatgas Yonif Raider 509 Kostrad, Captain Inf Rethorica Tiertha Amandica, S.IP added that from his side was ready to assist in dealing with outbreaks in the border region.

"In addition to securing the border, our members are also ready to help prevent the spread of this outbreak. One of them is by assisting the Regional Government in carrying out checks on the border community (Rapid Test)," he said.

"Hopefully this epidemic can end soon, so that the community can carry out activities as before", he added.
