| Welcome the World Lake Day Sentani Cleaned |
Employees of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Directorate General of Water Resources, Balai Sungai Papua carried out the Lake Sentani clean movement to commemorate the XXVI World Water Day. The activity was carried out alongside the New Waena Terminal, Heram Urban Village, Heram District, Jayapura City, which was coordinated by the Head of the Papua Sungai Bayu Aditya Head Office.

The action was carried out as a form of appreciation for the cleanliness of Lake Sentani, whose condition was dirty and received less attention from the government and residents around the lake.

"This activity also involves ASN from Jayapura City Government," Bayu said.

Head of Jayapura City Public Works Sub-Division Christian Womsiwor said that the cleaning activity carried out continued with a number of other activities including planting trees in Apo, North Jayapura District and cleaning up the Hamadi shoreline, South Jayapura District.

"We realize that cleanliness is part of the faith, as ASN and an extension of the Ministry of Public Works that must be considered are all water sources in the city of Jayapura because our lives always need water," Christian said.

In the clean-up action, the Head of the Jayapura City Environmental Agency, Ketty Kailola, along with his staff, were enthusiastic about cleaning up the waste that was seen along the shores of Lake Sentani near Terminal Baru Waena.
"Thank you to all the participants who were present for participating in the cleaning activity. This activity does not end here, but the river and springs are located.
