Guarding Papua Security, Central Kalimantan Regional Police Send 100 Brimob Personnel

The Central Kalimantan Regional Police sent 100 Brimob personnel to be deployed under the Operational Command (BKO) to Papua.

Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Inspector General Ilham Salahudin said in his speech that 1 company of Brimob troops was in the context of security maintenance operations. Among these are the preparation of the PON and the existence of armed requests there.

"This program is a Brimob program throughout the archipelago. This means that Brimob throughout Indonesia are charged with carrying out tasks outside their area of ​​duty," Ilham said, Friday, March 20, 2020.

Inspector General Ilham also requested that all obstacles faced there be a challenge to achieve success and success in the assignment.

"According to the plan, these personnel will carry out BKO in Papua for the next 6 months," he said.
