The Presence of the TNI Provides Benefits for Border Residents

Mobile health services are a solution for residents who need free treatment, such as coughing, fever, flu or having a wound and others can be dealt with and given help quickly.

The mobile health service organized by the 411 Kostrad Task Force Task Force is a form of TNI's concern for the health of residents in Kampung Rawa Biru, Sota District, Kab. Merauke on the RI-PNG border.

"Hopefully the pain they experience can be cured soon," said Danpos Blue Rawa Letda Inf Raden Adityas.

Separately, Dansatgas Yonif MR 411 / Pdw Kostrad Major Inf Rizky Aditya said the mobile treatment program was one of the Task Force programs in the health sector. Besides carrying out its main tasks in maintaining security in the southern border region of RI-PNG.

"The goal is to help residents around the ailing post to be treated immediately," said Dansatgas.

And if it cannot be dealt with, the TNI will coordinate with local health agencies for further handling. Nekolaus Sanggra (42 years old) who was suffering from a fever admitted that he felt greatly helped by the treatment carried out by the TNI from the Infantry Task Force MR 411 / Pdw Kostrad Pos Rawa Biru.

"So if we are very sick, we can immediately give medicine," he said.

This contrasts with the statement of separatist groups who say that the presence of the TNI is only to slaughter Papuans. The separatist group OPM Free Papua Organization deliberately provoked the TNI to be resented by citizens, but its efforts were in vain.
