| TNI and Polri Synergize to Maintain Security Stability in Papua |

Commander of Kodam XVII / Cenderawasih Maj. Gen. Herman Asaribab stressed, Wherever TNI-Polri members are tasked to jointly realize security stability in the community in welcoming the religious holiday of Christmas and the new year.
Herman said, the vast work area of Korem 173 / PVB requires the readiness of soldiers to carry out their duties to maintain security and stability in the territory of Papua Province.
As a TNI soldier who served in various Korem 173 / PVB units, according to Herman, was asked to continue working professionally and be able to maintain the unit's honor in carrying out his duties in the field.
"I hope that every TNI soldier will continue to provide a sense of comfort and security in the lives of the Papuan people in facing the Christmas and New Year waiting period," he stressed.
The working visit of the Military Commander XVII / Cenderawasih to the Korem 173 / PVB Biak region is expected to provide work motivation for each member of the TNI in carrying out the main duties of the TNI to maintain the security of the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia.
"We hope that the security situation in Papua will remain safe and peaceful as Christians welcome Christmas and the New Year 2020," he concluded.
