Natalius Pigai has been criticized by former OPM member, John Al Norotouw. According to John, Papua has changed a lot.
He said that the people in Papua had undergone important changes.
And according to him, Natalius Pigai doesn't know. Terms that connote racism or human rights are said to be obsolete.
"You have long forgotten the Land of Papua because you are pursuing the stage of personal popularity without regard for the safety of the Papuan people, while leading your own people into a new conflict of racism," John wrote as quoted on Friday, October 8, 2021.
According to John, the Papuan people now have a new spirit of nationalism. And they have made a peaceful and harmonious mini-Indonesian Papua home in Indonesia's strong belt," he said.
John emphasized that the outdated criticism of racism encouraged the Papuan people to have new goals that were more meaningful and dignified, namely that they wanted to seize Indonesia in the future.
Their citizenship rights have guaranteed a shared future for 270 million Indonesians.
"If you feel there is no place in the bond of one heart and one soul that is bound in the Bhineka Tunggal Ika frame, you should stop using non-sense chirping," he said.
He also advised, if Natalius wants to sing again, sing in his hometown.
"Stand with your two feet, step on the land of Papua, and your eyes witness the condition of the Papuan people so that the tweets have meaning and their roars can thrill the hearts of the Indonesian people," he added.
Advice was also given to Pigai. “If you migrate, place yourself naturally and be a good example to the new generation of Papuans. At least you know yourself," he said.
Pigai is advised not to defend the truth by stepping on justice.

All these things were conveyed by a former member of the Free Papua Organization (OPM), John Al Norotouw, in a letter.

John reminded, Natalius Pigai is a nobody. Pigai is not a Papuan community leader.
He said Governor Lukas Enembe and Governor Barnabas Mandacan were their leaders because those who elected them, the Regents, DPR members, Ondowafi/Ondofolo, Tribal Chiefs, were their leaders in the Land of Papua.
“They all support the development policies under the leadership of President Jokowi. You are not our leader," he said.
