The residents of Okor Village, Haju District, Mappi Regency expressed their appreciation for the 112th Manunggal Military Village Development Task Force (TMMD) for the 1707/Merauke Kodim for completing the construction of 20 community houses.
The head of Okor Village, Hendrikus Amkai, in a statement received by ANTARA, on Saturday thanked the TMMD task force of Kodim 1707/Merauke for working on the habitable housing program.
"Similarly, the TMMD task force has built a connecting bridge between villages, built a pier in Okor Village and repaired the Kampung Okor church by plastering the church floor," said Hendrikus.
Meanwhile, the 112nd Danki TMMD Task Force, Captain Inf. Herman Purba, visited people's homes to beg to return to Merauke Regency.
Captain Inf Herman Purba expressed his gratitude to all the people of Kampung Okor who had participated in helping the construction of 20 community housing units through the 112th TMMD program from start to finish.
"With the enthusiasm and hard work and the assistance of the local community, the construction of 20 community houses in Okor Village went smoothly and was completed on time," said Captain Inf Herman Purba.
He admitted that the participation of the people of Kampung Okor was very helpful for the physical construction of 20 houses.
"I thank those who have participated so that the construction of 20 housing units is completed on time and on this occasion I also represent all personnel of the 112th TMMD Task Force, please say goodbye to return to Makodim 1707 in Merauke Regency," said Danki TMMD Task Force Captain Herman Ancient.
