The Meraukem District Health Office, Papua Province, is targeting that every day Covid-19 vaccinations will be carried out for 500 people, both vertical agencies, religious leaders, teachers, and the community.
This was conveyed by the Secretary of the Merauke Health Office, dr. Nevil Muskita, to a number of journalists at the Merauke Regent's office, Monday (8/3/2021).
"Indeed, around 6,000 vaccines arrive, so they can be arranged so that in the next two weeks it can be completed," said Nevil.
Furthermore, he continued, it would be ordered again from the central government through Papua Province.
"We will serve everyone according to the availability of vaccines," he said.
It is said that until now there are 6,000 doses of vaccine available, so that every day at least 500 people can be vaccinated.
"Yes, if it runs out, it will be ordered again," he said.
Asked whether ASN had administered the vaccination, Nevil admitted that he did not know yet, because the data had not yet been received. For Covid-19 vaccination, there is no fee.
For the requirements, according to him, you have to get enough rest and not get drunk and you have to bring your KTP.
One resident of Samkai Village, Anita (32), admitted that he also wanted to be vaccinated against Covid-19, given the current situation the number of Covid-19 patients in this district in southern Papua continues to grow.
"I want to be vaccinated. If there is registration, I will definitely come to register, "he said.
