The Sinovac Covid-19 Vaccine injection which was carried out by the Yapen Regional Government through the Yapen District Health Office after being opened directly by the Secretary of the Yapen Alexander Nussy at the launch of the Covid-19 Vaccination which took place at the apple page of the Yapen Islands Regent's Office, Friday (19/02) .
Also present were the Head of the Yapen Islands Police Resort AKBP A. Wakhid P. Utomo together with Dandim 1709 / YAWA Lt. Col. Inf Leon Pangaribuan, K Guru Serui Marcelo Bella, Chair of the Serui Court Ronal Massang and several OPD leaders and leaders.
Kapolres Yapen AKBP A. Wakhid P. Utomo said that the Government's intention was very good for the community, so that how to jointly decide on the spread of the Corona virus and one of them is a free vaccine program to the public.
"Currently the health workers and all of us are being given Covid-19 synovac vaccine injections, this is a good thing for the Government in handling the prevention of the spread of the corona virus, which will then be given to the whole community," said Yapen Police Chief.
The Police Chief added, if all people had been vaccinated, of course the spread of Covid-19 would soon subside and community activities could return to normal, especially in restoring people's economic growth.
Meanwhile, Dandim 1709 / YAWA Lt. Col. Inf. Leon Pangaribuan, after a few minutes of receiving the covid-19 vaccine, explained that he did not feel any effect after being vaccinated.
The Dandim also asked the public not to be consumed with incorrect vaccine issues because the Government works to think about the people so that it is impossible for the Government to trouble the citizens.
"After we have been vaccinated, it's safe to feel no effect, and for people who often get various information about the effects of vaccines, that's not true, those who receive vaccines must also be really healthy,"
