The Papua Light Festival which is being held virtually has been held in conjunction with the 2021 New Year's Eve.
The event is part of counting down 300 days towards the XX Papua National Sports Week (PON) 2021.
This activity was broadcast streaming via the official Facebook and Youtube PON XX Papua 2021 account and live tapping on Metro TV on Thursday (31/12/2020) night.
At an event that was recorded before December 31, 2020 and has implemented this health protocol, the Papua Light Festival presents various arts and cultural performances from Papuan and capital artists on a landing craft tank in Youtefa Bay, Jayapura.
This event is the first because besides being held virtually, it is also a unique and out of the box set of places, and of course offers the natural wealth of Papua.
The enthusiasm of the community watching this streaming program can be seen from the positive response through comments that provide enthusiasm and support for the XX Papua 2021 PON, especially appreciation for Papua which provides interesting content.
Yunus Wonda, Chief Executive of the National Sports Week Executive Board, said that the selection of New Year's Eve moments is certainly a clever strategy for the PON XX Papua 2021 Committee.
He continued, all of these activities were a sign that the Papua Province was ready to implement the XX Papua PON 2021.
