Lukas Enembe Inaugurates the athlete's house & the KONI office



Papua Governor Lukas Enembe inaugurated the athletes' homestead and the KONI office in the Mandala Jayapura Stadium complex, Papua, Monday (24/8/2020), which was marked by sounding sirens and the opening of the inauguration board.

The number one person in Papua said that the inauguration of the athletes' homestead and the KONI office would be a new milestone for the world of sports on Cenderawasih Earth.

"We want to make Papua a province of football and athletes so that the inauguration of this guest house and office is expected to be a momentum in itself," said Lukas Enembe.

According to him, in the future PON athletes will also carry out a Training Center (TC) or training center at Wisma Atlet Mandala.

"Next, I will check the construction of other venues so that they can be inaugurated soon and in September and handed over to KONI and Dispora," he added.

In line with Lukas Enembe, Head of the Papua Province Public Works Office, Girius One Yoman, explained that the athletes' homestead building and the KONI office were built one roof on an area of ??approximately 2,944 square meters.

"The source of development financing is from APBD funds for nine years starting from 2011 to 2019 with a total of Rp. 313 billion," he said.

He added that the athletes' homestead building and the KONI office have seven floors with a total parking capacity of 264 vehicles and can accommodate 524 athletes.
