One of the fighters for the PON Bali team, I Gede Ardi Arimbawa in the men's 64-67 kg class, is determined to repeat the success of Pre-PON 2019, in Bandung, West Java. The Denpasar-born fighter is determined to repeat the gold medal at the XX / 2021 PON Papua.
The 22-year-old fighter emphasized that the gold medal was his main target, even though he would face challenges from other fighters. Namely, fighters from DKI, Sumatra, and the host of Papua. This refers to the results of the previous Pre PON, the fighters from the three provinces were considered quite strong.
What is clear is that all the fighters who appear in PON Papua are all strong. They definitely made more preparations after Pra PON. That's for sure and I will have a tougher challenge
