The Regional Government of West Papua Province, through the Deputy Governor of West Papua Mohamad Lakotani SH, M.Si, appreciated the participation of Manokwari residents, religious organizations, mosques, churches, political organizations, social organizations, NGOs, LMA who have carried out independent prevention related to COVID-19 .

Namely by spraying disinfectants, providing hand washing facilities, sharing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), distributing masks and even donating groceries to residents. Also doing work from home according to the governor's appeal to break the chain of distribution of COVID-19 in West Papua.

‘’ I see what people from various backgrounds, such as religious organizations, political organizations, social organizations do, is good and very commendable. On behalf of the local government, we would like to express our appreciation and thanks for all the dedication, dedication in order to provide protection to the community, the end of all that is needed community support, '' explained the deputy West Papua Governor Mohammad Lakotani, SH, M.Sc, Thursday (2 / 4/2020) this afternoon.

"The government has the seriousness to keep us in the zero zone, but this needs the support and cooperation of all parties," said the deputy governor.
