| Papua Industry Strengthening Program 2020 |
The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) will focus on special programs to strengthen industries in Papua in 2020.

According to the Director General of Small and Medium Industries and Miscellaneous (Director General of IKMA), Gati Wibawaningsih, her office is preparing training activities for the people of Papua.

"So Papua 2020 we focus more on empowering the economy of the community, especially women," Gati said when contacted by Gatra.com on Sunday (15/12).

He said, would focus on the processing industry of red fruit, coffee and noken (Papua net bag). For red fruit, continued Gati, it will be processed into cosmetic ingredients.

"That is just about to make training. The realization is after April 2020," he explained.

This training will be carried out through collaboration between the Ministry of Industry and academics. This is done in order to grow new industrial entrepreneurs in Papua.

"We want Papua to be able to exploit its natural potential with industrial entrepreneurship. In addition, it also makes human resources superior in Papua with the expertise provided," he said.
