The local community has created a tourist route that is connected from one destination to another in order to enjoy the natural beauty from the forest to the sea to be offered to tourists visiting the conservation area of the Berau Fakfak Bay coastal park.
The Berau Bay coastal park tourism path created by local people enhances the enchanting beauty of the sea, explores mangrove forests (mangroves), writes traditional villages stories of the ancestors of the Fakfak community until they end up enjoying the sensation of mystical waterfalls which are believed by local people to cure diseases.
The beauty of the beach at the Berau Fakfak Bay coastal park is so charming, especially the atmosphere in the afternoon enjoying the sunset is not much different from the sunset in Kaimana. The underwater beauty is also enchanting for divers because of the beautiful coral reef ecosystem and lots of advertisements.
The exotic coast with lush maze of mangroves on its calm water surface is a beautiful sight for travelers to capture the moments of their journey.
In the area there is also a historical story of the ancestral history of the local community marked by the old mosque building which was built in the early 18th century.

According to him, the local community welcomes the local government's intention, which is supported by the Indonesian Conservation and the Indonesian Tour Guides Association, to introduce the tourist route to the national and even international level.
"Essentially, we are ready to support the government for tourism development. The community is ready if they support the construction of homestays or shelters for tourists who come," he said.
United advancing
In order to develop the tourism sector in the conservation area of the Berau Bay coastal park, especially the Ubadari waterfall tourist route, the Fakfak Tourism Office has established huts or gazebos to relax for visitors who come to unwind.
The government has also formed a tourism awareness group or Pokdarwis Ubadari to independently maintain and ensure the cleanliness of the waterfall tourist route since early 2020.
The head of the Ubadari Pokdarwis, Husein Iha, explained that the tourist area in the conservation area of the Berau Bay coastal park has begun to be crowded with domestic tourists. Especially the Ubadari waterfall area is very crowded with visitors.
Because reaching this tourist attraction by land using four-wheeled or two-wheeled vehicles from the capital of Fakfak district for an hour's journey.
The management of tourism in the conservation area of the Berau Bay coastal park has the support of the Indonesian Conservation Foundation. Especially the push for sustainable tourism development.
The Indonesian Conservation Foundation West Papua Program Director, Meity Mongdong said that a tourist route will function well if all tourism components are united in a harmonious relationship both tourist attractions, regulations and supporting policies.
