Parisada Hindu Darma Jayapura City visited the blind boarding house of the Humania Polimak Foundation and handed over nine basic supplies on Saturday (3/14/2020). The visit and assistance were part of the celebration of Nyepi Day and the 1942 Çaka New Year.

Chairman of Parisada Hindu Darma of Jayapura City, Ida Bagus Sutakertya stated that the visit to the Humania Polimak Foundation was a form of concern for Hindus in Jayapura City to their fellow human beings.

"This is a form of our love, in the form of social and humanitarian care. We are very happy because our assistance was well received, "said Sutakertya.

According to Sutakertya, the assistance was provided as a form of support for the boarding house residents of the Humania Polimak Foundation. "We motivate them to rise up so they can participate in development in Jayapura City," Sutakertya said.

In addition to providing nine basic necessities, Hindus in Jayapura City also provided assistance in the form of bath soap, coffee, instant noodles, detergents, toothpaste and hand washing soap for the residents of the blind hostel. "We also gave masks," Sutakertya said.
