Papuans Are Urged to Post the Attributes of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia

The Assistant for Economic Affairs of the Papua Regional Secretary, Muhammad Musa'ad, appealed to the people of Earth of Cenderawasih to wear red and white attributes, ahead of the celebration of the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.

"Not only the public, but business actors, offices and the whole community are obliged to put up independence attributes such as the red and white flag as a sign of gratitude and gratitude for the sacrifices of the heroes who have fought for the independence of Indonesia," explained Musa'ad, after a leisurely walk in order to celebrate the independence of the Republic of Indonesia. Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, at the Lukas Enembe Stadium Courtyard, Kampung Harapan, Jayapura Regency, Friday (5/8/2022).

Meanwhile, the leisurely walks in the context of the Indonesian Independence Day were led by the Papua Regional Secretary Muhammad Ridwan Ruikutun. Turur attended the leadership of the OPD and staff of the Papua Provincial Government.

The leisurely walk took the starting route from Kalkote Beach and finished at the Lukas Enembe Stadium, which was then closed with the presentation of door prizes for all participants.

Musa'ad added, in addition to leisure activities, the organizing committee for the Independence Day at the provincial level will organize other activities, such as blood donation, vaccination and anjangsana.

"Then there are rowing competitions, swimming, tug of war, climbing areca nut and running 10 kilometers," he said.

Musa'ad added that all activities in the context of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia will be held at the Lukas Enembe Stadium, so that all former PON assets will be used for state activities.

"Essentially, all activities in the context of this anniversary we focus on the Lukas Enembe Stadium. What does it mean, we use these existing assets for a good purpose. Hopefully there will be more events like this in the future that will take advantage of the former PON building," he concluded.
